Our mission is to connect traditional artisans to a global audience hungry for creativity, meaning, and sustainability in what they use and wear. To keep them in a job they love, sharing products they love, with people they'd otherwise have never met. And to help save precious cultural heritage from the monotonous tide of globalization.

Our rush to globalize is eroding our humanity.
Commodification and mass-produced goods have eroded our connection to craftspeople, and their ancient traditions are evaporating with them. Brands reign supreme while amazing but isolated creators of high-quality crafts struggle to reach global audiences. This doesn't have to be the case.
Luckily, in our modern world we're also more connected than ever before. Our Story
Who are we?
We’re just a group of friends who love history, culture and craftsmanship, bound by our passion for preserving all three in the face of mass consumerism. We see an opportunity in like-minded people's renewed interest in local, sustainable products. Cultural artisans need a space to thrive and sustainably and fairly ply their goods.
We made Bridging Kin to build that space. To sustain the richness humanity has woven across generations. Ensuring that our connection to history through the goods we use is not lost. The craftsmen that bring culture and story to us deserve to make a good living doing it and we aim to make that happen.
